Mafia Wars Stamina part 2

Mafia wars stamina - part 2 (489 words)

When you first begin playing mafia wars you should put all of your skill points into energy and stamina. I used to put all of my points into energy, but you can do just as well with stamina, but only if you know a neat little trick. We'll talk about that in a bit. I you are interested in mastering all of the job tiers you'll need a lot more energy, but if fighting is all you care about you can use stamina these days because of the new robbing feature.

Robbing works a lot like doing jobs. You use stamina to gain money and experience. The nice thing about robbing is that it doesn't use up health, and when you are successful you get a bonus to the experience gained. Robbing can actually be more efficient than doing jobs when it comes to experience per point (of energy or stamina) used.

May not sound like a big tip, but it's quite useful if you do a bit of planning. I suggest pouring all of your points into energy and stamina until you have 500 or 1,000 points together in the two. After that, pour the points into attack and defense. I am interested in completing the job tiers, so I put a lot more points into energy for jobs, but I also put points into stamina so that I could clear the robbing board four or five times at the beginning of every level.

By throwing all those points into energy and stamina you will level much faster at first, while you recruit a bigger mafia. Level 500 might sound like a LONG way off, but it's really not that bad. If you pump energy and stamina up to about level 200 and then pour it on in the attack and defense departments, you can hit level 500 with a full mafia and simply crush people in fights and wars. Stamina isn't such a bad deal for leveling up, and if completing jobs masteries isn't interesting you can go with a lot more stamina than energy.

I used to be all about energy at the lower levels, but it turns out that stamina is just as effective for leveling. Yes, you'll lose when you rob if you don't beef up your attack and defense, but it all evens out in the end and gaining more levels makes getting skill points later on a lot easier. A big energy pool means that you can fly through mastery levels in Cuba and Moscow to gain easy points later on.

In the end, take it from a pro and don't worry too much about attack and defense at first. Build your mafia size by recruiting on group walls and get a big bunch of energy and stamina first. I guess you could take a balanced approach, but that just doesn't seem too fun - it is a war out there you know.

Mafia Wars Stamina part 1

There are two kinds of video game players regardless of what kind of game you're talking about. There are the pros, who study the game (probably harder than they have ever studied anything else) and the casual folks. Casual players always make up the vast majority of the population of any role playing game, and the pros, well nobody pays all that much attention to them really. But even casual players like to have a certain level of competence when they play, although they might not put as much time and effort into it as a pro might. You just wouldn't believe how sophisticated game analysis is for some things, like World of Warcraft. Honestly, it can get a little out of hand. But we're supposed to be talking about mafia wars stamina here, and ways that the casual player can look a little pro with a few good tips in that regard.

The whole point (I promise there is one) is that you don't have to be a pro to look like one. All you need is some pro tips, and the great thing about mafia wars is that it's not really all that complex. There are many elements to mafia wars, but for pros (I hate to admit I often act like one) the shortcuts become apparent pretty quickly.

There are basically two ways to play mafia wars. One way is to go all out thuggery and build up attack power and defense and just whip everyone in fights and wars and robbing. The only problem with this is that it leaves you with very little energy. Not having enough energy means you won't level very fast, so you get stuck winning fights, but only against low level folks - which isn't great on the bragging rights scale.

The other way is to level quickly and gain more resources. I've never been much on PvP in RPG's (player vs player) so the whole fight and war thing wasn't really my cup of tea. I've got all of the property achievements in every country as well as all the money achievements, mastered New York, Cuba and Half of Moscow before level 300. All of that gave me more than 50 achievements out of 74, not bad eh?

But one thing I discovered along the way is that you can probably have your cake and eat it too, and so let's talk specifically about mafia wars stamina. Stamina works a little like energy in that you have to have energy to do jobs, and you have to have stamina to fight. But fighting isn't going to get you very far. You have to do other things to level up first before you can get yourself in a position to be really good at fights. We'll cover the specifics in part 2.

Mafia Wars Level

If you're not used to playing role playing games, mafia wars can look a little intimidating at first glance. But take it from me, it's nothing compared to something like World of Warcraft, which can be mind boggling - even to elite gaming geekoids. Since I am a sort of gaming geek myself, let’s spend a little time on mafia wars leveling, so that if you're new to gaming in the first place, or even just new to mafia Wars, you can level a lot faster while you learn the ropes.

The key to gaining levels fast in mafia wars is in timing. Mafia wars is a like a lot of other text based RPG's (role playing games) in that everything is on a timer. In timer based text games the clock is the key. Knowing when to do things and in what order makes all the difference. If you're a super casual player who only logs in once a day, you can sort of forget it, but if you have the time to check in every couple of hours for a minute or two it may make a huge difference.

There is another element to leveling and that is energy. You have to have a lot of energy (or stamina, but that's another discussion) in order to level fast, but having too much can mess up your timing. Without boring you to death with a wickedly long explanation of 'why' just remember this rule of thumb. When you first begin playing mafia wars put 7 out of every 10 skill points into energy until you hit level 100. From level 100 to 200 put 6 out of every ten points there, and past 200 five or less.

The short answer for 'why' is energy refills. You want to have just enough energy at each level so that when you use an energy refill you can use all of the bonus energy without leveling (or at least most of it). ok, that sounds confusing. Let's say you just hit level 100 and have 2,000 experience points to your next level. Using up all of your energy and stamina should get you a little less than halfway to the next level. If you have 700-750 energy you should be in perfect shape. Using all of your energy would leave you with around 1,100 experience to your next level, and if you use your energy refill at this exact time (right after you level up) the extra energy you get from the energy refill should get you to the next level, and that means another energy refill.

By timing the use of your energy refills you should easily be able to gain a full level and a half in just a few minutes every day. If you choose the maniac class, you can get another full level a day from the faster energy refills. I also use my reward points for energy refills. If you do it right you can hit at least level 100 in less than a month. With a little careful timing mafia wars levels will fly by.

Mafia Wars Mastery part 2

Another important thing you need to watch when working on Mafia wars mastery is to be sure to remember to use your energy refills. With a little careful timing you can make sure that you level up just before your next energy pack is available, meaning you can get a whole bunch of jobs done as well as gain a full level and a half in just a few minutes.

When you do use your energy pack, use that energy to do jobs that gain you requirements for other jobs. A good example is "obtain compromising photos" in the hitman tier. In order to complete this job you will need a concealable camera from the "rob an electronics store" job in the enforcer tier. You will also use the photos you get later in other jobs in later tiers. The bad thing is that even if you master the entire hitman and enforcer job tiers you will not have anywhere near enough photos to complete the alter jobs, you'll be short about 500 or so. So you'll be doing some jobs in the lower tiers a LOT.

Always do these lower level jobs right after you use your energy pack, so you can use every ounce of energy on jobs. It's kind of a bad thing to level up while still having 250 energy left, because you lose it. Doing lower level jobs leads to give less experience, so always do these jobs right after you use your energy pack, while doing the high energy jobs after a level up.

The only thing left after this tip is patience. It's going to take you weeks to master all of the job tiers in New York, let alone the other countries. But you should start with New York and stick with it until you are completely done. After that move on to Cuba and then Moscow before opening up Bangkok. Typically it will take an average player until about level 230 to master all three levels of each tier of New York, although you can get it done by level 200 if you are incredibly efficient.

New York has more achievements than any of the other countries, so if you're really going for mastery start there and then move on - one at a time to the other zones. By the time you finish New York you'll have a whole lot more energy to work within the other countries, which will make flying through those mastery quests a lot faster than the first one in New York. Plus, the other countries don't have as many job levels to complete, New York is far longer than the other ones and has a lot more required loot from jobs to complete other jobs.

And that's all there is to mastery. A little patience and good planning and you'll be able to complete all of the mafia wars job mastery levels in good time. Just remember that timing is the key. Knowing to do small jobs when your energy refills and big jobs when you hit a new level will make the whole process a whole lot faster.

Mafia Wars Mastery part 1

For more than two years now Mafia wars has been one of the most popular text based role playing games on the internet. Forget the fact that it's one of the more popular games on facebook, you can actually add in all of the other role playing games period. As a matter of fact, mafia wars almost has more players than the top 5 MMORPG games put together. With more than 25 million active users, it's certainly at the top of the heap when it comes to games, so it's no wonder that the mafia wars mastery achievements tips are asked so often.

Mafia wars isn't nearly as robust compared to something like World of Warcraft, but for bus people with little patience for action games and complex mechanics it's perfect. In just a few minutes each day you can progress just as quickly through Mafia wars mastery as though you were a pro. However, you do have to have some little idea about what you are doing and the best ways of going about it.

After playing mafia wars for some time and approaching it in the same way I approached WoW and other RPG's, I found that there are a few good ways of going about doing all of the mastery levels that help, and the only limitations are energy and timing. There aren't any super shortcuts like you might find in some aspects of other games, but you can certainly be efficient.

First, each section of jobs has three associated levels of mastery. Each time you do a job you gain a percentage toward a total in one of the tiers. Once you have mastered one job, you have to master all of the other jobs in the section to progress to the next tier. In other words, you have to complete the level one mastery for all jobs in the Capo section before you can work on level 2 mastery, you can't get to level 3 on one job and then go back and do the other jobs.

The most efficient way of completing the mafia wars mastery tiers for each segment is to start off by buffing your energy a great deal. We recommend putting all of your skill points into energy until level 100 at a minimum. This gives you plenty of energy to spend on jobs. You can work on putting skill points into attack and defense later.

Mafia wars is mostly about gaining achievements, that and killing a little time here and there. Since there is no movement involved, being a text based RPG, you don't have to work on your dexterity, and all that is left is how many fights you can win, how many properties you own or how many achievements you complete. And many of the achievements in the game are based on progressing through the job levels.

Each time you level up, immediately do all of the jobs in the tier that have the highest energy cost. These jobs typically reward more experience toward the next level. If you are spending all of your skill points toward energy, you should be able to complete a little more than half a level right after you level up. Always begin with the jobs that require the most energy and work your way down from there. We'll look more at energy in part 2.

Mafia Wars Facebook

For those of you who are out of the loop, there’s this little game the kids are playing on Facebook called Mafia Wars. According to the latest reports by game maker Zynga, Mafia Wars has over seven million active, daily players. Recently mafia wars game cards have become available for purchase at major retailers like Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and 7 Eleven. Zynga, the maker of mafia wars and other Facebook games like Farmville, CafeWorld, and YoVille has recently been estimated to be worth $5 billion. This is a privately-held company based out of San Diego.

Recently, however, the company has been hiring at a quick pace trying to keep up with their growth. They have opened studios in Texas, India, and China. Some are skeptical, however, as Farmville and Mafia Wars account for a large percentage of Zynga’s 23 million gamers worldwide, and both have recently reported losing users for the first time in the company’s history.

This meteoric rise has not gone unnoticed, as venture capitalist firms have recently given over $150 million dollars to Zynga.

Wait, aren’t these games free? How does Zynga make money? Well, if you’ve never played mafia wars, then you wouldn’t know. Yes, the game is completely 100% free to play, but in order to unlock items or certain things in the game, you have to either have a significant number of people in “your mafia” or you can purchase the rewards via the game cards or online.

Another money-making feature in mafia wars is energy. Players can only do as much as their energy allows, but Zynga offers energy packs for sale at their store. These digital products are making Zynga millions of dollars.

Mafia Wars is a highly addictive game, and arguably the most popular text-based game in the entire world. Zynga reports players from almost every corner of the globe. Their games, like Mafia Wars, have been big hits in Asian markets that play games more at internet cafes as opposed to western markets who usually purchase games for unlimited home use. Asian markets are used to having to pay per time played, and because their time in the cafĂ© is limited, they don’t want to sit around waiting for their energy to come back because it is literally costing them money. Better for them to purchase energy packs from Zynga so they can keep playing until their time is up.

Mafia Wars Illegal Transactions

Mafia Wars, the supremely popular, text-based, online Role Playing Game has over seven million daily players according to Zynga’s latest numbers. One thing they are constantly looking for is an item in the game called Illegal Transactions.

This is because Mafia Wars, for most people, is all about mastering all the jobs, massing obscene amounts of cash, and having tons of weapons, vehicles, and even exotic paintings and animals. Well in order to master all the jobs in New York, you’re going to need quite a few Illegal Transactions.

The reason this is so hard for new players to understand is because Illegal Transactions, unlike most items needed to do jobs in mafia wars, are consumed on use. Other jobs may require you to have two getaway cars and two tommy guns, but you are allowed to reuse those items until you’ve mastered the job, and even get to keep them to do other jobs. With Illegal Transactions, it’s different.

There are two ways to obtain Illegal transactions in mafia wars. One is have your friends gift them to you. One reason Zynga games have become so popular is because they allow players to gift items that they need to one another even if they don’t actually own the items themselves in exchange for posting announcements on their Facebook pages, promoting the game.

However, unless you have hordes of friends who routinely check their announcements and are able to send you illegal transactions at a moment’s notice, this method of obtaining them is rather inefficient.

The other, more dependable way to get illegal transactions is to do the job “Steal Bank Records,” which is in the Capo tier (level 25-34). You won’t necessarily get illegal transactions to drop from doing this job, but it is the best way to get these items that you need to master the jobs at higher levels.

Mafia Wars Computer Set Up

We’ve been talking about robbing electronic stores, and it’s something you have to do a lot to master all the jobs in New York in Mafia Wars. See, in order to do the jobs at the higher tiers, you’re going to need a lot of Computer Set-Ups. A lot of them. In fact, you’re going to need a total of 263 Computer Set-Ups in order to master all the jobs all the way to the Boss tier (level 100).

The reason you’re going to have to rob the electronics store over and over and over is because, unlike most items in Mafia Wars like Tommy Guns, Getaway Cars, and Brass knuckles, Computer Set-Ups are consumed when used, so if you have one that’s required to do the job, you won’t be able to do the job again until you get your hands on another Computer Set-Up.

Two of the higher-tier (underboss, level 69-90) jobs you need Computer Set-Ups to master are:
‘take over identity theft ring’
‘embezzle funds through a phony company’

There is another way to get Computer Set-Ups. They have a small chance to drop while fighting other mafias, but the chance is so small that it’s much more efficient to rob the electronics store instead.

Another way is to have your friends send them to you. One of the reasons Zynga games have gone so viral is that they promote the game by allowing players to send each other things they need in the game so that it posts on their Facebook page, without having to actually own any of the items on their own characters.

Still, this is highly inefficient, as you are limited on how many and often you can gift items to others, so unless you have a large group of friends who readily send you items all the time, then this option is not the best choice for getting Computer Set-Ups.

So, get out there and rob some electronics stores!

Mafia Wars Untraceable Cell Phones

In mafia wars, some items are extremely valuable if you want to complete all the job masteries in New York. One of those is untraceable cellphones. In order to master all the jobs all the way to Boss level (100) in New York, you’re going to need lots and lots of untraceable cellphones.

The reason for this is that unlike most items in Mafia Wars, like Tommy Guns, Sawed-off Shotguns, or getaway cars, untraceable cellphones are consumed with each use. So in order to master the jobs that require untraceable cell phones, you’re going to need a stockpile. And, before you ask, you can’t simply buy untraceable cell phones at the market place.

Here is a list of all the jobs that require untraceable cell phones:
-used on ‘order hit on public official’ Underboss 69-90
-used on ‘ransom a busnissman’s kids’ Consigliere
-used on ‘flip a snitch’ – Capo 25-34
-used on ‘dodge an fbi tail’ – Capo 25-34

There are only two ways to get untraceable cell phones in Mafia Wars. You can ask for your mafia friends to send them to you. Players are able to send gifts even if they don’t actually own any of the item they are gifting. This is one of the strategies game-maker Zynga has used that made all of their games go viral. Friends encourage friends to sign up so they can send them untraceable cell phones.

The other way to get untraceable cell phones in mafia wars is to do the job “Rob an Electronics Store,” which is in the Enforcer tier (level 13-17). I almost feel bad for the owners of the electronics store, because you are going to need to rob them a lot. It’s not guaranteed that you get an untraceable cell phone from the job, but you also need concealable cameras in order to get blackmail photos!

That’s how you can get untraceable cell phones in mafia wars, so get out there an rob some electronics stores!

Mafia Wars Blackmail Photos

In the massively multiplayer popular online text-based Facebook role playing game, or MMPOTBFBRPG, Mafia Wars, which has over seven million daily users according to game-maker Zynga, there are some items that are highly valuable, and one of those in mafia wars is blackmail photos.

The reason blackmail photos are in such high demand is that they are required for many many jobs available in the New York section of the game. In order to earn job mastery for several jobs on several different levels, you’re going to have to have a lot of blackmail photos. The reason for this is that, unlike other items like Tommy Guns, Sedans, or Lead Pipes, blackmail photos are consumed when you click “Do Job,” meaning you could have all the energy in the world, but if you don’t have enough blackmail photos, you’re not going to be able to master that job.

There are actually two ways to get blackmail photos in mafia wars. One is ask for your friends in your mafia to send them to you. The game allows players to “gift” items they don’t actually have to each other to encourage you to keep playing the game and keep posting updates about it on your Facebook page. This is the strategy Zynga has used to make its games hugely successful. So, your first option at getting blackmail photos is to beg for them from your friends.

The second way to get blackmail photos is by doing the “Obtain Compromising Photos” job in the Hitman (level 18-24). In order to do that, however, you need to have a concealable camera, which is sometimes a reward from “Rob an Electronics Store.” You will have to do that job a lot in order to master all the jobs in New York, even after you’ve already mastered it.

Here are a list of the Jobs that you will need blackmail photos to do:
‘buy off a federal agent’ Boss Tier (level 100+)
‘blackmail district attorney,’ Boss Tier (level 100+)
‘influence a harbor official,’ Consigliere (level 35-59)

So now that you know how important blackmail photos are in mafia wars, get out there and start obtaining some compromising photos!

Mafia Wars Strategy

At first glance, it doesn't look like there is very much strategy to mafia wars. But after just a few levels the sheer number of jobs and looted items to acquire can be pretty overwhelming for a new player. Or, if you've been playing for a while you might get the sinking feeling that you're doing something quite wrong. While there are some good strategy guides out there that you might want to check into because they are well worth a few bucks, here are a few tips to get you started and carry you most of the way through the game.

The first key to mafia wars is to choose the maniac class as soon as it is available. Having more energy and regenerating energy faster is one of the keys to completing more jobs and leveling at lightning speed.

Until you reach at least level 100, spend every single bonus point you get in energy. There is also a bit of a neat trick you can use to gain more energy faster. Work your way up to the Capo level doing only the jobs that give you the most return of cash money to begin with. Once your energy is close to 200, go back to the lower levels and master all of the jobs through level 3. This will give you plenty of points to spend in energy, so that as you move toward level 50, you will have well over two or 300 energy to spend at each level up.

Save up your cash to buy all of the properties in the list and begin upgrading them once you have purchased all of the weapons and other things you need to complete jobs. The properties will return you big chunks of cash whether you have energy to complete jobs or not. It is important to begin investing in properties as soon as you can afford them. Use the money collected from your properties to upgrade the properties so that they bring in even more cash. Once you buy your first set of properties, they will easily pay for all of the upgrades available.

Spend some time in the mafia wars group pages getting new friends so that you can grow your mafia. Request respect every day from your friends list and always give respect when requested picking the experience reward.

These tips will get you well on your way to level 101 and above. If you still think that you need more advice, check out this strategy guide. It's the best one we found and contains lots of great tips for dominating mafia wars that will put you as one of the top bosses in the game.

How to Get Mafia Wars Friends

No matter how long you've been playing Mafia wars, you know it can be a real help to have a huge stack of mafia wars friends behind you. A mafia that is huge will get you many items that would otherwise take you days or weeks to get by completing jobs. But there is an easy trick you can use to grow your mafia all the way to the maximum of 500 in less than a week or two.

It's really simple. It only takes a few minutes a day for a few days and it is unbelievably effective. All you have to do is type mafia wars group into your Facebook search box. Start at the top, joining each of the groups in the list. What you are going to do next is a little different than what everybody else does.

You will see most people making a post to the group wall asking for other people to add them as mafia wars friends. You can go ahead and make a post to the wall, but don't expect to get very much action out of that. There is a far more effective way of getting more members in your mafia than you can possibly handle.

The real way to get dozens of new mafia members right away is to friend request every single person who has posted on the current mafia wars group walls. Instead of waiting for people to contact you, while your post gets buried in a flood of other posts, take the initiative and type a simple friend request from on-field wars that says something like: very active mafia wars player, sends maximum gifts daily, looking for other mafia families, please join me.

Simply copy this message and then paste it in to a friend request to each person on the group wall. You will be absolutely shocked how fast you gain mafia wars friends. In just a matter of a few days I was able to have well over 400 new mafia wars friends and a mafia with over 350 members at just level 10. It's fast and easy, so go start dominating the landscape of mafia wars.

Mafia Wars Autoplayer

The first thing you need to know about a good mafia wars auto player is that it doesn't exist. You need to put the whole idea completely out of your head and just play the game straight up - the right way. Cheating is always a bad idea in the first place, but this particular sort of hack is particularly dangerous for you. Let me tell you what you can expect from a mafia wars auto player.

The first thing you can expect is nothing. I have only ever seen one auto player software that actually worked for anything at all. And the maker of that particular piece of software was eventually sued to the point where he will never be able to pay off the debt after just one year of operation. The other thing about that situation is that the auto player wasn't free.

There aren't mobs of good programmers out there sitting around trying to make free stuff for your personal convenience. However, there are mobs of good programmers out there trying to make software to Rob, steel, and cheat you in every possible way. When you step into the world of cheaters and hackers you open yourself up to all sorts of nefarious deeds. If you are going to run in the killer dog pack, you better have some teeth of your own or it's just a matter of time before you become a target.

In many cases those packs of hacker hyenas are only waiting for you to come traipsing into one of their traps. As a general rule if it is a hack or cheat there is a 99.9% chance that it is a trap. You put yourself at risk for an absolute bomb of viruses and spyware at the minimum, and maybe even outright identity theft. When you put your computer in the hands of a hack programmer, there is no way of knowing what other little tricks are hidden in the code. The really sneaky part is that the program you think you are getting to autoplay mafia wars probably was never even made to work. In other words, they never even tried to make a mafia wars auto player, they only want you to think that's what you're getting - only to receive a nuclear computer meltdown or a cleaned out bank account.

So, like I said, forget the entire idea about auto players for any game. The truth is that they never work. And even if you get lucky and find one that does, you are taking a huge risk with your computer, identity and financial security. If you want some help leveling mafia wars and really mastering the game, fine and pay money for a good strategy guide. Always be afraid of "Free."

Mafia Wars Illegal Records

Illegal records in mafia wars is one of those consumable items that can only be obtained by completing jobs or from gifts from other members of your mafia. Here is an overview of how to get a pack of illegal records and just how many you are going to need to master the Consigliere, underboss and boss levels all the way through three stars.

You obtain illegal records by completing the job in the Capo tier entitled: steal bank records. This job requires 30 energy and returns 38 experience and $840,000. In order to complete the illegal records job you will need to have completed the job: smuggle Thai gems in order to receive the armored truck loot.

Illegal records are used in the jobs:

Consigliere Tier - Fix The Big Game
Underboss Tier - Extort a Corrupt Judge and Embezzle Funds Through a Phony Company
Boss Tier - Shake Down a City Council Member

Each of these jobs will require one set of illegal records. In order to master each level of each of the jobs listed above are will require 52 illegal records for fix the big game, 184 for extort a corrupt judge, 79 for in embezzle funds through a phony company and 109 to complete shake down a city Council member.

This means you will need to gather a grand total of 424 sets of illegal transaction records and to master each of the job titles listed above. That's going to mean smuggling an awful lot of gems, as well as stealing a whole bunch of bank records. You would think that after a while the bank and the feds would eventually get you. It's hard to rob a bank even once, but more than 400 times? Oh well, nobody said games were supposed to fall in line with reality.

Mafia Wars Trainer

Mafia wars is one of those games that can be hard to get away from. It's no wonder that 25 million people play the game nearly every day. It becomes obvious when you first start playing, that it would be nice to use your energy points at just the right time to maximize your collection of experience and cash. The problem is that work and eating sort of get in the way of that from time to time. You might have heard of a mafia wars trainer, but let's set the record straight once and for all.

Let's step away from mafia wars specifically for just a moment and talk about games in general. Games are designed to give you an escape - something fun to do. Unfortunately, in this day and age many people are in some sort of huge rush to win or get to the end. As a result, almost every game imaginable will bring up Internet searches for hacks, cheats and trainers. I should probably say something snarky about this type of habit, but let's focus on the even darker side.

The real problem with putting your hands into the jar of illegal programming, especially when it comes to your computer is that you never quite know what's inside. While you might think it would be great to have a mafia wars trainer that would complete jobs, collect cash and spend skill points or search for new family members for your mafia, the truth is that an effective trainer opens you up to two major problems - and that's assuming you ever find a single one anywhere that actually works.

First, when it comes to online games, it's really easy for the host and maker of the game to tell when you are cheating. Most games have built with policing software to scan for anything that doesn't match certain criteria. If you gain levels 12 times in mafia wars in four hours it's going to throw up an army of red flags. Now the typical response to cheating, when discovered, will result in your account being banned. If it took you several weeks or months to level your account manually, one day of using a trainer can throw it all away.

But the biggest problem is not merely losing your account. Hack and cheat websites and trainers are a notorious hot bed for viruses and spyware. Think about it - the last thing a master programmer really wants to do is sit down and create an absolutely free piece of software to automate some game. But they might consider it if they can load your computer with a nasty little bugs that provide them with information that can allow them to either make some money off of you, or even steal some money from you. Their reward will either be picking your electronic pocket, or an evil laugh as your computer crashes and burns.

So whether you're playing mafia wars or any other kind of game, it's far better to master the game on your own then to resort to trying to cheat the game in any way. I have never had an account banned for any sort of cheat or hack because I never use them. The horror stories of massive virus infections are just too scary. If you want to level faster and get more done with mafia wars there are many good strategy guides that will help you learn how to completely dominate in mafia wars without ever cheating for a single second. Come on, just play the game straight up, you'll get far more pride, satisfaction and even security of your electronic identity and computer in the process.

Mafia Multiplayer

Perhaps the most popular mafia multiplayer game anywhere in the world today is mafia wars on Facebook.com. While it's not a true action game in the sense that it has an interface with killer graphics and live action, it is still one of the more addictive games that we've ever found. Mafia wars can be played on several social networking sites such as Facebook and tagged, and allows you to build a mafia empire starting at street thug and work came your way all the way up to Godfather.

With more than 25 million players around the world, you can't really get much more massively multiplayer online role-playing game than that. It requires no knowledge of the back story, there isn't much theory crafting to be done, but it is as engaging and addictive as a text-based RPG can get.

Mafia wars is obviously based on a type of role per turn system, when that type of thing is necessary at all. Most of the game is built upon acquiring the necessary weapons, vehicles and tools needed to complete quests called jobs. The jobs earn you cash, experience and loot they can be used to complete another series of jobs later on.

Perhaps the most important aspect of the game falls under the classification of managing a certain kind of power called energy. Each job requires you to have certain materials and equipment as well as enough energy in your pool to complete the job. You regenerate energy at the rate of one point for every five minutes whether you are logged into the game or not.

Managing your energy is one of the things that you have to learn how to balance and master if you are going to progress through the levels of the game very quickly. For the avid gamer, this will come quite naturally. For those who are less experienced with role-playing games, it may take you just a little bit of time before you get used to doing jobs in certain orders and which jobs to select over other jobs if you plan on building a large mafia very quickly.

Of course, none of this is entirely necessary. For the casual player mafia wars can be just as interesting even if it takes your months to complete the levels. There is always something to watch for or work toward in mafia wars so for the micro manager, it's a dream come true. Just like you might do if you were a real-life Godfather you can spend your time hovering over mafia wars watching every detail of your empire as you build it.

Gangsta Game

When it comes to role-playing games, computer and Internet developers have done by far the best job of giving people a wide variety of different styles and flavors to choose from. But when it comes to playing the bad guy, console games have a stranglehold on most of the good titles. I have to admit that I didn't grow up in anything like what you might call a 'hood.' So don't expect a lot of street jargon out of this white boy. But from time to time my inner thug, deep as he may usually hide, would like to take a couple of spins around the block. Since I'm not much of a console gamer and prefer PC games overall, it was nice when I found the game Mafia wars on Facebook.

If you're into first-person shooters, Mafia wars isn't going to hold much interest for you. It's a text-based RPG that allows you to rise from street thug to Godfather by basically mowing down, shooting up, tearing apart, dominating and in all other ways whipping the crap out of everything in your way. In terms of sheer brutality and the number of weapons, Mafia wars puts everything else to shame. It's almost too bad you don't get to see any of the mayhem that you're creating.

At first glance you might wonder why a mafia wars has 25 million players on Facebook. It seems overly simplistic and not a whole ton of fun for the first 30 minutes or so. But once you start figuring out that you can't just blast everybody right away, and there really are some strategies involved, you began to get hooked. After a few hours you might very well find yourself checking your mafia wars interface every few minutes or so.

Before long, you'll be micromanaging your way through organized crime building just like you might do in real life. You'll be hiring dozens of bodyguards, buying weapons, building armored cars and collecting rent from your tenants all in a single minded quest to reach the top even if it means having to kill everyone in your way. So when you're looking for gangsta game that's free to play and a whole lot of destruction, mafia wars may be just the thing for you.

Mafia Wars Godfather

If you've been playing mafia wars for any length of time, you have probably found yourself starved for both energy as well as godfather points to spend. Godfather rewards, also seen as RP reward points can be found in the marketplace at the top of your mafia wars interface. And there are certain ways you can gain more godfather points but you're going to want to take each one of those options according to your own personal preferences. There are three ways to gain more godfather points and we'll discuss each one of those.

Well, there's actually four ways to get reward points playing mafia wars. The first way is that you can get reward points when you level up, but nobody seems to know for sure which level ups will give you reward points and which ones will not. It seems to be fairly random, so don't count on getting a reward point every time you level up.

The second way to get reward points is to buy them directly from Zynga, the company that makes the game. You can do this in several different places in the mafia wars interface, and these will try to coax you to do so from time to time. If you have a whole bunch of spare cash lying around it's probably the easiest way to go. But for most people it's not the best option.

Another way of getting reward points is to complete some of the online survey options available in the marketplace window. I have never been a big fan of giving my personal information out just Willie Milli over the Internet, regardless of how many reward points may be involved. But if you love mountains of e-mail spam, this can be a great option to get a lot of points fast.

The last way to get reward points and godfather points in mafia wars is to sign up for the free trial offers that are available just below the survey options. These will result in spending some real money at some point, but there may very well be a couple of offers in there that actually interest you. It's probably the least painful way, as well as the most spam free way to get a big pile of points really quickly.

Regardless of how you obtain your godfather points in mafia wars, you're probably going to want to spend those points on energy refills more than anything else if you are still leveling up. Once you get to the higher levels, such as over 100 or so, you might spend your points on vanity items as opposed to the energy. But for most people, energy is by far the best option because it gives you the ability to complete more jobs and gain more experience.

Free Role Playing Games

While there are quite a number of free role-playing games available on the Internet, perhaps none is more different or engaging than mafia wars. You can play any mafia wars for free on the social networking sites tagged and Facebook. The game is virtually identical in both locations and you get a chance to do something that you would probably never even consider in real life. In mafia wars you rise from street thug to Godfather while you role-play your way through the dark and seedy underbelly of organized crime.

While there's not a lot of back story or a particularly engaging storyline, the game is rather addictive nonetheless. It has a vast array of loot and a quest classifications called jobs. You earn experience points, cash and loot much like you would in any other role playing game and you need this loot and cash to be able to complete further jobs.

Instead of relying on merely health and something such as manna in order to determine if you have what it takes to complete a job, mafia wars adds another wrinkle in the form of energy. Each job requires a certain number of items, such as Tommy guns and getaway cars to complete and also requires you to spend a certain number of energy points. Your energy regenerates at a flat 1 point per 5 minutes whether you are logged into the game interface or not.

When you reach a level up, all of your energy and health points are automatically refilled, which leads us to the main tip regarding mafia wars. If you are just beginning to play mafia wars, you'll want to make sure that you select the maniac class. The maniac regenerates energy every three minutes and the difference seems much bigger than that. A maniac can complete many more jobs than the other classifications thereby leveling much faster and earning far more cash in the same amount of time.

On Facebook will have to wait to select the maniac class until about level ten, be sure that when asked whether you want to regenerate health, earn more money, or regenerate energy faster that you select gaining energy faster to become a maniac. This one tip can propel you forward faster than almost anything else you can do in mafia wars.

There's far too much to talk about when it comes to mafia wars than we can cover in just one little article. Will leave part of the discovery of the addictive nature of mafia wars up to you. But if you really are in search of a great role-playing game free on the Internet, it's really hard to beat mafia wars. Give it a few hours and you'll probably find yourself logging in every few minutes just to see how things are going.

Mafia Wars Tagged

In case you hadn't heard, Tagged is a social networking site much like Facebook. I had never really heard of tagged until I started playing mafia wars on Facebook. Now this isn't going to be a discussion about the differences between the two social networking sites, but rather the similarities in playing mafia wars on either site.

Mafia wars is made by the video gaming company Zynga and works in exactly the same ways on both Facebook and Tagged. There are some minor differences in the graphical elements if you have played mafia wars on Facebook before. But the same jobs are available in both versions of the game.

In other words, playing mafia wars will require the precise job order regardless of where you play in order to truly master the run to Godfather regardless of which networking site you choose. You'll want to keep a few of the basic tips in mind when playing mafia wars on tagged.

First, be sure that you choose the maniac class when you make your character for mafia wars. This will help you regenerate energy much faster. And more energy means more jobs, and more money. It's actually quite amazing how big of a difference just two minutes makes. While other classifications will get one energy point every five minutes, the maniac gets a new energy point every three minutes. That means if you're not a maniac you'll have 12 energy points every hour, but the maniac will get 20. At low levels that is an extra eight jobs per hour you can do.

Always work on taking the jobs that give you the most experience her energy point at least through level 50 or so. At that point, you can go back and began to work on the jobs that give you specific loot required to do the more advanced jobs and have plenty of energy to spare, as well as cash to spend, when you have to begin working on the tougher jobs.

By leveling up faster, and having far more energy, you will be able to breeze through levels playing mafia wars on tagged just like the masters have learned to do so on Facebook. There are not as many people using tagged which means you might have a little more difficulty building a large mafia there, but overall the differences are very minor. So if you're already a fan of tagged and want to try mafia wars, just remember to select the maniac class, spend all of your extra points on energy, and level up fast by being selective with which jobs you do. This will put you ahead of the game and well on your way to Godfather.

Blackmail Photos

There are lots of different kinds of loot items in mafia wars that require you to collect a certain number in order to complete various jobs. One of these types of consumable loot items is blackmail photos. Blackmail photos can be obtained a couple of different ways when playing mafia wars on Facebook.

Before we talk about the specifics you should probably know that in order to complete all of the jobs in the New York tiers, you are going to need more than 403 sets. Since you will probably not do the job that obtains blackmail photos even 100 times, it means that you are going to have to use your first source for blackmail photos as your primary way of collecting this loot item.

The best way to get blackmail photos is as a gift from friends. Now, you can also get them from the Godfather, but you should probably spend those points on something else. Having lots of mafia wars friends to help you out is absolutely the number one way to obtain most loot items.

But, if you are only trying to get enough blackmail photos to complete a certain job, you can get them from the quest "obtain compromising photos" which requires you to have a concealable camera in your inventory. The camera comes from the job "rob an electronics store."

Just remember that it is always best to receive most of your quest items as gifts, which will require that you grow your mafia wars friends list as much as you possibly can.

Mafia Wars Energy

It only takes about five minutes playing mafia wars before you realize that you're going to need as much energy as you can possibly get your hands on. Energy is the bread and butter of the mafia wars system until you get well over level 100. One way to really dominating mafia wars is to do everything you can to do as many jobs as possible every single day. The way to do this is to completely maximize your energy.

The first way to do this is to make sure that you select the maniac class, which regenerates energy much faster than the other character types. All other character types regenerate energy at one per 5 minutes, but the maniac regenerates energy one every three minutes. You don't have to be an uber mathematician to know that that is a lot more energy over a 24-hour period.

The other way that you can maximize your energy in mafia wars is to spend every single skill point you ever get on energy. Combined with the faster regeneration of the maniac having a larger energy pool is important for even more reasons.

Every time you level up you gain full energy. The larger your energy pool becomes, the more jobs you can complete after you level up without having to wait around for more energy to regenerate. As a matter of fact, you can almost complete each level instantly all the way up to level 8 if you spend all of your points on energy.

So when you are first starting out in mafia war's all the way up to about level 100 don't worry about anything else when it comes to skill points but energy. You will level faster if you concentrate on energy than if you do any other single thing in the game.

Mafia Wars Bodygaurds

It's easy to see why mafia wars has become so popular, it's addictive as hell. It is really simple to play, more fun than an automatic weapon, and a whole lot quieter to boot. It's a chance for you to let your inner thug out for the day, or at least for a few hours. And speaking of thugs, let's talk a little bit more about bodyguards in mafia wars.

Bodyguards are rare loot items that you can get it in several different ways. Like most rare loot items you are going to need bodyguards in order to complete certain jobs as you progress toward Godfather. The biggest reason for needing more bodyguards is that your defense is very important in most fights; having bodyguards in your inventory will give you a better chance of winning.

You can get more bodyguards by completing a certain quest in the game called "protect your city against a rival family" once you have risen to hitman level. Since this is a random loot item, you will want to complete this quest several times until you've built up a small army of bodyguards.

But the best way to get bodyguards is from other players as a gift. This is why it's so important that you recruit a lot of friends, especially players who are much higher level than you in mafia wars. There are lots of really useful items they can send you as gifts everyday. Just be sure that once you are one of the top mafia, you give back to the people who gave to you and also your friends that may need a little boost.

You can also receive bodyguards as a random item through fights, but fighting is not a recommended activity early in the game. You stand a much greater chance of losing your fights when you are low-level, than when you've had a chance to gain more items and experience playing mafia wars.

How to Play Mafia Wars

There are some people who have been playing games their entire life. If you're not one of those people, but find yourself interested in playing a game that has a little excitement that your everyday routine may be lacking, then the Facebook game mafia wars may be just the thing for you. With more than 4 million players, mafia wars has become one of the most popular Facebook games ever and it can be quite addicting.

Unlike Farmville, which can chew up all of your time if you let it, mafia wars can be done catch as catch can whenever you have time. The reason for this is that each time you do something in the game it costs energy. In order to regain enough energy to do something else, you have to let your character rest. Since you can't do anything while you're resting, you might as well go vacuum or run errands or whatever else that you normally do with your time.

Mafia wars does not require quick reflexes and a lightning quick Internet connection like your standard first-person shooter game, making it an adventure quest game that almost anyone can play. To get started you'll need a Facebook account. After that it's just a matter of typing mafia wars into the search box at the top of your Facebook page. You will be taken into account permissions screen where you need to press the allow button and you'll be right in the game ready to create your character.

You will be asked to choose a character name, you probably want to make it something that sounds a little tough, and then you will be asked to go do your first job. You will soon see that doing a job requires nothing more than clicking a button. In just a few minutes you can be leveled for with more than $5000 in your pocket.

It it doesn't move this quickly forever, because somewhere near the end of level 4 you will simply run out of energy. This is what we mean by you can go do something else while your energy is being restored. You gain one energy every five minutes. This means that level for with 25 total energy it will take a full two hours for you to regain all of your energy.

And those are the basics to getting started playing mafia wars. It's very simple, but can be very addictive as well. All you need is a Facebook page and you can be well on your way to living a vicarious life of crime.

Mafia Wars Private Jet

Of all the cool loot in mafia wars, the private jet that may be atop the list for many people. Of course, it's only available when you get to level 100 and can begin the boss level quests. Here's a brief overview of what you are going to need in order to complete the quest that drops the private jet as loot.

The first order of business is energy. The name of the job from which you can get the private jet is called "make a deal with the Mexican cartel." The job will require you to have 35 energy to complete. You will also need to have:

The prop planes are obtained from the quest steal an air freight delivery, and are also used in the quests "help a fugitive flee the country" in the consigliere level, and "arrange a new York drug shipment," which is an El Cacique level quest.

The night vision goggles are looted from the quest "assassinate a political figure," and are also used in the capo level quest "loot the police impound lot."

Automatic rifles are obtained as loot from the quest "bust a made man out of prison."

You will need to complete the prerequisite quests a few times as you level up to acquire the loot necessary to get the private jet, but the effort is well worth it for one of the coolest loot items around.>
